The VDR plugin femon adds a DVB status monitor to the OSD that displays signal information and some other parameters of the current selected channel. This plugin is very useful to, e.g. analyze the quality of the DVB signal.

The installation is very easy, just use:

# sudo apt-get install vdr-plugin-femon
# sudo /etc/init.d/vdr restart

After the VDR has restarted the status monitor can be activated in the main menu.
